The original online shopping cart they were using was too restrictive, expensive and did not allow for easy changes. We were able to assist them by reducing their web hosting expenses by more than 50% plus getting them into a shopping cart that was easy to maintain and use.

Vermont Beef Jerky
10 years in the top of the search engine results. There is a saying "if it ain't broke, don't fix it". This website was originally a few simple web pages built in 1995. Since that time, Vermont Beef Jerky has enjoyed great placement in Google (and other search engines) for the search term "beef jerky". We convinced this client to add online ordering several months ago which has become a tremendous success. Maybe we're a bit superstitious but we dare not re-design or update the "look and feel" of the site in any way. The client is very happy with their search engine position and that's one thing we don't want to mess with!

Ecommerce made simple. The original site design had not been updated in years and showed it's age. There was a printable order form which you could fax or send via postal mail. The client base and visitor count for the original website was of significant size. The goal was to give the Champlain Valley Apiaries site a complete makeover and offer easy, online sales.

Re-designed for a competitive edge. We recently completed a total re-design of the entire Anchorage Inn website from top to bottom. The original site had not been updated in years and required a whole new, fresh look. In order to compete with the large chain hotels in the area, the website was given a more elegant, attractive design. A new secure, online reservations system was built and new photos added.

Just a touch of Flash on the home page of the Rendezvous Bed and Breakfast website. This site was built in 2005 and the photos are changed twice a year. Although it's simple website, the owners have remarked that it comes up well in the search engines and that the website has been a tremendous advertising tool for promoting their business.

Sigma Phi Society needed a simple yet effective recruitment website. We intentionally designed the site with a historical theme to reflect it's time honored traditions and collegiate background.

Outdoors Magazine
The first thing we did when re-designing the "look and feel" of this website was to eliminate the old, framed format. Web pages in frames are not search engine friendly so Outdoors Magazine was losing a lot of visibility in Google and other searches. We also updated the visual design, navigation and overall layout. Archived content and a few of the daily updated pages are housed in i-frames for the convenience of people adding content. We also added a much improved discussion forum, chat room, poll and built a database driven email subscription system with secure login.

Northland Journal
Content management website with subscription capability. Alpine Web Media re-designed the Northland Journal site based on an older design that was outdated and limited. Although it is not a total re-design, we added much more content, cleaned up the navigation and links and positioned a few photos wherever possible to balance out the text. This website also includes a subscription tie-in via PayPal.

In existence since 1994, Vermonter.com continues to receive a respectable amount of web traffic. We leverage this traffic and feature all of our clients prominently in order to send a few visits their way. We offer this as a free service to any of our new clients and it is their option whether to be included or not.

American Agility
American Agility is an example of a client designed website. In this case, the client designed all of the page content, font sizes and colors. Alpine Web Media put it all together at the client's request. We provided all of the programming code and HTML to make the site look exactly as the client envisioned it. This is perhaps the most time intensive website to build as every page is literally built exactly to the client's specifications.
