<< Clothes to Perfection
is a skiwear and clothing e-commerce website, well positioned in the search engines within just days of being built. Usually, it takes weeks before a new site gets indexed by Google but this one took off, right out the gate!
Zen Cart with all the bells and whistles >>
For those seeking a VERY full featured online shopping cart, at an affordable price, Zen Cart is a great choice. The code is open sourced and free of charge. Development time and learning to manage the cart are a bit more challenging than a standard shopping cart. RNSupply.com needed the versatility and full features of Zen Cart to fit their needs. If you need a full powered cart but want to save thousands of dollars, Zen Cart might be your best choice.
<< Online shopping with a touch of class
With thanks to Kehoe and Kehoe Designs, one of New England's top graphic design firms, we customized this elegant online shopping cart system for Water2Wine with built-in email newsletter functions, tell-a-friend and much more.
Online shopping - plain and simple! >>
Teasers is a simple shopping cart with many items presented in a simple, straight forward manner. The cart is easy to work wth and the owner can add his own items, change prices and manage orders.
<< Yahoo Store
This online ordering website is based on Yahoo Store. We redesigned the Boggy Meadow Farm store to be very simple, yet visually appealing. The Yahoo Store Manager makes it extremely easy for the client to maintain their store, change prices, add or edit products and process orders.
The sound of music and ease of ordering >>
Alpine Web Media began working with Elisabeth Von Trapp's website several years ago. The original online shopping cart they were using was too restrictive, expensive and did not allow for easy changes. We were able to assist them by reducing their web hosting expenses by more than 50% plus getting them into a shopping cart that was easy to maintain and use.
<< 10 years in the top of the search engine results
There is a saying "if it ain't broke, don't fix it". This website was originally a few simple web pages built in 1995. Since that time, Vermont Beef Jerky has enjoyed great placement in Google (and other search engines) for the search term "beef jerky". We convinced this client to add online ordering several months ago which has become a tremendous success. Maybe we're a bit superstitious but we dare not re-design or update the "look and feel" of the site in any way. The client is very happy with their search engine position and that's one thing we don't want to mess with!
Online ticketing and search engine visibility >>
The original design of the Northern Lights, Lake Champlain Cruises website was a bit graphics heavy and light on HTML content, which is essential for search engine positioning. With that in mind, Alpine Web Media re-designed the site in a more "content rich" manner and optimized the keywords. This site also required an online ticketing system which we were able to build using an ASP shopping cart.
<< Ecommerce made simple
The original site design had not been updated in years and showed it's age. There was a printable order form which you could fax or send via postal mail. The client base and visitor count for the original website was of significant size. The goal was to give the Champlain Valley Apiaries site a complete makeover and offer easy, online sales.
Online shopping and a need for availability >>
The story behind The Vermont Made Richard's Sauce website is unfortunately all too common. Alpine Web Media was contacted for assistance with the existing site because the previous web design firm refused to make changes in a timely manner. Without notice, the original design firm cut off access to the client's online cart, leaving her with nothing. Luckily, we had already copied all of her web page files and were able to rebuild her site, using all of the original design, within 48 hours. We also constructed a vastly improved shopping cart and matched the design to her original website. The original design "look and feel" was done by the previous web design firm, not Alpine Web Media. The client is planning an entirely new site re-design in the near future.
